This enables publishers to easily and quickly open up new revenue streams and user engagement opportunities
AnyMind Group, an end-to-end commerce enablement company, has today announced the launch of App Builder, which will provide engineering resources from the company to help website-based news publishers convert their websites into mobile apps within a short period of time, enabling the opening up of new revenue and user engagement opportunities.
Publishers that have converted their websites into mobile apps will also have an out-of-box connection to AnyManager, and can access tools such as app store analytics and AnyManager SDK, a software development kit that streamlines demand from major demand partners such as AnyMind Group-owned POKKT, along with AdColony, AppLovin, Facebook, InMobi, MoPub, Tapjoy, Unity Ads, ironSource, and more. This is in addition to the platform’s capabilities for web publishers including the ability to manage and track web and app performance on a single dashboard, AnyManager Tag Service, which funnels demand from over 100 demand partners, AnyManager GAMES, Core Web Vitals analytics, Story Engine, integrated audience identification solutions and 3rd-party ad verification, and more.
To attract and acquire new users for the mobile app, publishers can also tap on AnyMind Group’s marketing platforms including AnyTag for influencer marketing, and AnyDigtial and POKKT for web and in-app advertising.
AnyMind Group will leverage on Flutter News Toolkit, an open-source framework by Google, to help with the conversion from website to mobile app, and news publishers can also request customization or development of app widgets.
Khaosod is a Thai news publisher whose primary content distribution channel is its website. However, despite having launched a mobile app a few years ago, updates were discontinued due to limited operational and technical resources. By leveraging the Flutter News Toolkit, AnyMind supported Khaosod in developing a fully functional app within two weeks. Furthermore, this collaboration helped reduce maintenance costs for Khaosod.
On the launch of App Builder, Hitoshi Maruyama, Managing Director, Publisher Growth, AnyMind Group, said: “In the near future, news publishers will need to have a mobile app offering in order to better satisfy their users, and App Builder is a great resource for development efficiency. For Khaosod, development efficiency was increased by 30-40% and required fewer engineers working on it, and allowed for feature releases to increase by 120-150% compared to before the switch. We are also looking to develop features on AnyManager to help publishers get the most out of their mobile apps.”
